Additional Info This is my Gary Fisher clunker replica. Build with all period correct parts (except tires) from the period the first geared MTB's were evolving from the singlespeed clunkers (~1976-1978) Almost all parts are from 1975-1976, the wheels are form 1978 when the first alloy 26" rims came available for the BMX cruisers. I prefer these above the original Schwinn S2 steel rims as they are ridiculously expensive and the size is just under 26" so requires special tires that are not available (searched 6 years on ebay and forums and found 1...) Besides that Alan Bond told me they were rubbish and the first good upgrade were alloy rims. Took me 6 years to find all parts and build it.
