Am I the only one here that thinks this ebike emergence is incredibly sad? Poor bullit.

A cycle with a motor is a “motor-cycle”. Seems more honest to just spend the same money on a dirtbike and have way more power.

I agree with this ^^^ precedent.

I use the feet or foot rule ( in this case tires). Most sports as long as your feet are touching inside the boundary line you are good to go. This means that your body parts can be outside that line but do not touch ground. In MTB the rule should read ... more »

Clearly outside the pole (course) and certainly Did Not return between same poles. Time to "man up" and call a DQ on himself.

Looks pretty clear to me - He went off the track. He did not re-enter between the same poles that mark the course because his wheels (at least the back wheel) went off before the pole he hit. Should technically be a DQ.

It is a movement with a complete political agenda!

And fine! It's great you choose to support it. However I use mountain biking as an escape from life. And I disagree that this is the place for it.

Just saying leave it All out! All of it!

Great now vital Mtb is shoving the BLM movement down my throat. Can't we leave political movements out of this and just ride? This is getting rediculous!

was just having a conversation about this actually.
a lot of full fledged enduro bikes are headed back to 170 or 180 mm of travel, and enough are going that way that the fox 38 doesn't even...more

Looks like both Luca and Loris are running mullet setups. When is the industry going to adopt mullet bikes for production in all sizes except XL?

I have been running mullet on my SC Megatower ( before that mullet yeti 165) and prefer mullet for precision, clearance, and change of direction. Run a offset bush in front and in high chip mode. Just switched out my Tallboy as well. Hope these mullets take hold for a purpose built bike soon. For me it has been a big difference in maneuverability.

Fox missed the chance with the 38, when they should have been building a 36 dual crown.

I agree, its really the only way to achieve proper stiffness up front especially for big riders.

In my imagination, it was lift the front with the Boxxer and lower the BB with a mullet rear end.

Here is my Yeti SB 165 in "97.5". I am LOVING this bike. Exactly what was said about turns - able to dive in and out much quicker than full 29" - to me anyway. This set up is Really fast and fun!

Going with 170 29". I am not the first trying this with this bike of course. I know of at least two others riding it this way. The one has commented that he is loving it. More info at mtbr forums - yeti 165

Yes it seems to be working really well for more riders. I am going to try this out with the new Yeti SB165 in the next week. See how it goes!
