Jeff, I would be extremely interested in custom stays for my Sentinel. Being on a medium, I would be looking for ~450mm to get the FC:RC number where I want it. How are you going about this project?

I am really hoping that companies like Guerrilla Gravity will take their 'modular/hacker' ethos to the back of the bike as well, and offer long stay kits. I know they're gonna be insanely busy filling orders this year so I'm not holding my breath. Until ... more »

@jeff.brines I wish so badly that I could have a balanced Sentinel, it would be an incredible bike. As it is, it's only truly better at monster trucking down steep rocky shit. It's really dodgy when I'm carving high speed, flat or off camber stuff. @ninjichor ... more »

Bang on, you're speaking my language here. The Smuggler is the *only* Transition with reasonable front/rear balance. The best ratios I've found were: - Stumpjumper ST (not enough bike for what I want) - Yeti SB5.5 (discontinued) - Yeti SB6 (too much ... more »

Now that's its legalized in one of the cycling powerhouse nations (Canada) and in most of the US, the UCI is gonna have a hard time throwing heavy fines at anyone who pisses hot for weed. In my own racing experience I knew quite a few riders who certainly ... more »

There are plenty of reasons pro riders cheat that aren't about profits or ego. Sure, they're competitive and everyone wants glory, but they're also competing for the chance to maintain a rad lifestyle. There are only so many spots available, and podiums ... more »

Trials riding is slow. It's really cool, but it's slow. Not my bag. There is no such thing as a "Forest Park ride." Unless you were on a gravel road, any Forest Park riding you did was illegal, and was probably on the 'secret' trails up there-- the discovery ... more »

I've only lived here 3 years and this isn't surprising to me at all. Portland is an almost completely dysfunctional city full of frumpy white people who so badly want you think they're weird and creative while in reality it's Boring Passive Aggressive ... more »
