Man….when is everyone gonna stop listening to the marketing bs and really ride what works. This is a perfect example…of what works! Being surprised by the geo numbers and actual bike handling is you finding out the truth and discovering that the industry marketers are full of crap. Its a damaging trend: putting riders on completely wrong gear. If you are an exceptional rider that goes out more than twice a week and know what you want through experience, then fine, get on something more specific but how many of us can realistically afford more than one sick bike? Ironically through greed the industry will restrict its market instead of grow it. Throw newbies on latest and greatest and all you get is crash reels and the bike parked in the garage. The more riders that start on humble solid equipment and build their skills through experience the more good gear the market will sell and the more happy humans there will be. Is that so hard?

Clearly you never made the effort to try to make it work. First gen of MC in Boxxers Race (circa 2008) had a thread on the adjuster rod which allowed you to put a nut and basically have some simple HsC adjustment for free. That used to transform the fork and made it quite good. The last boxxer I had was 2017 and this trick was not an option anymore but with a bit of testing I found the right mix of oil somewhere between 3 and 4wt to allow the harshness to go away while still having good LsC control thanks to the adjuster allowing to go pretty much locked-out. Again all it took was a bit of time, research and this time some oil I had laying around. And if you can't be bothered you can still contact NovyPart in France who designs some compression assembly to replace the plastic junk that RS provides, will set you back roughly 150€ and you will have a fork as competent as any charger fork. Stop crying, a little bit of effort, brain cells or money can transform a decent fork in something quite good for 99% of us. I will be happy if I get one on my next bike, more than a fork with Charger with which you can't easily play and setup to your liking.

Which is exactly what I used to do, but now RedBull post "See Loic's Winning Run" when you go on their website looking for the replay. As far as I know you can't record the live feed, so how the hell do you avoid it?
It seems Pinkbike have listened regarding spoilers, so it seems the only way now is to go to Pinkbike to get the link to Redbull's replay.
It really kills watching the replay when you know a run isn't going to win.

If I really wanted to avoid the results I'd just not visit Vital / PB until I've watched the race.

The only time this has been a problem for me is when RedBull posted "See Loic's Winning Run" video right on the page where you go to see the replay. All news sites should be expected to post the results imo.

We are a welcoming and understanding portal, that lets the user decide what they want to see. It couldn't be easier to make sure you get to watch the race without spoilers, just don't visit news sites or social media until you've seen it - it's the easiest decision in the world. My point is that it is ultimately up to the users to take advantage of all the tools and technology at their disposal to shape their experience, without resorting to demanding that the whole internet should conform to their particular viewing preferences.

Hey DrewB, apparently you didn't take the hint from the other people in the comments who didn't share the trail name or location, so here's a more direct hint: don't do that.
