Bummer about Fogel crashing. He is so tech and can certainly get high up on the podium. The final crash looked painful as hell.

He would have won it in my books. I couldn't believe he didn't break anything on that landing, thought he broke his back, hip or tail bone. So much height and straight onto his back, it was scary. So glad he was okay from that, but I bet his bruise is nasty.

Had the Xen, crushed the back of it from an off on a double, now I have the Feature. I love it, lightweight, affordable, simple design, and tons of coverage.
Used to think young kids were at a disadvantage by going straight to mtb without BMX, now you go and put this content out...and completely shut down that train of thought. What lucky kids, such an awesome thing to see little Jackson grow up in that type of spotlight and watch him progress. They absolutely send it and are stoked to be ripping where they do. Sounds like they still have humility in it and haven't let it blast their little kid egos as high as their jumps.

100% Concur. Downslope XC racing format needs to be eliminated ASAP in the US. All-mountain/Enduro bikes want more thrown at them when blasting down. Races need to adjust to that, such as the one featured here. Put the emphasis on skill with endurance, rather than endurance with a little skill. Case in point Keene with the decisive win. That guy is an endurance animal, but first known as a DH ripper. Enduro needs to entice DH oriented people to get more fit while still offering a format that rewards aggressive descending.

Holy Smokes. As Ronnie Hawkins would say "Big Time Bill, Big Time"

Gnarly track. Looks so rough. Stoked to see Brayton up top! WIsh he could pull together more WC top 20s. He's a beast.

Exactly what I was thinking. With the Stumpy Evo 26 taking care of that segment, why not keep the beef up front? Spoke to a top guy running 34s at Ashland and he said it was almost as stiff, but not. With a bike like the Enduro, where you can do everything, that 36 up front seems like it inspires more confidence. Haven't ridden the 34 though, but I would miss the beef when sending/dropping/plowing.

everything looks sick except the 34mm forks. Come on specialized, is it really worth those tiiiiny weight savings to ditch the stiffness of a 36 (especially on a DH oriented AM bike.) Bad choice IMO.
Highly entertaining.

Just bought the whole film last night. Phenomenal. The riding is unreal in every segment, and the camera work is unparalleled.
