I'm confused...You need a SRAM derailleur but can't seem to find one? Here's a link to an X9 rear derailleur:

Added a new video Aaron Gwin's Off-Season: Episode 2 3/27/2017 8:57 AM

Gluten-free pizza parties, rock climbing in skinny jeans, a push-up contest, and a little bit of SoCal shredding.

Fans are used to seeing Aaron Gwin take the top step of the podium weekend after weekend, but what we don’t get to see is what goes on behind the scenes in the making of a World Cup winner.

In this second episode of our Off-season series with Gwin, Aaron introduces us to his friend and long-time mechanic, John Hall.

We see the two working together out on the trails at Lake Elsinore, California, showing us exactly what a winning duo looks like. Once he’s done tearing up the trails, there’s always time for some fun with his friends.

Find out what you missed in episode one of Off-season here.

Added a new video Marc Beaumont and Matt Simmonds - Just Ride 3/24/2017 11:37 AM

If you're looking for some upbeat and fast tempo riding, Marc Beaumont and Matt Simmonds have you covered.

Nothing quite beats the pure enjoyment of shredding your local trails! The freedom it gives, the relaxation, the adrenaline and the passion all rolled into one makes for a feeling like no other. The transition from winter to spring can be one of the most rewarding times to ride as the ground gets drier and the days get longer. So we headed out to find some hidden woodland gems to remind us all just why we love our sport so much.

Here at Saracen, we’re really proud about the bikes we build and we always come back to our simple mantra of #JustRide

Added a new video Lost in Whitefish - Shawn Neer and Jubal Davis 3/22/2017 10:36 AM

As mountain bikers, it is our nature to explore and get lost in the woods in search of the next prime stretch of singletrack. Riding in Whitefish and the surrounding Flathead Forrest of Montana, there are opportunities abound for us to fulfill this inner desire. Whitefish Mountain is the hub of riding activity with purpose built park jumps and rugged natural, mountain lines linking together a lift-serve experience that rivals any park in the country. We spent many an afternoon testing the limits of our trail bikes there. Venturing outside of town limits and into the fringes of this sparsely populated state, miles of trails were revealed. The high ridge-lines of the Alpine Trail network provide distant views of glaciers and what felt like endless turns. Further west, strewn between the lakes region, we found untracked dirt veiled by seasons of pine needle decay. After a week exploring the region, we began to question ourselves and ponder relocation to this alcove of like-minded riders, world-class trails, and the plethora of local breweries was an additional draw.

Added a new video KC Deane - Big Mountain Blasting 3/22/2017 9:45 AM

Chute master, ridge master, whatever you want to call him - KC Deane finds some incredible looking lines in this jammer, and he's not afraid to hit them at full-tilt.

KC Deane finds some incredible, jaw-dropping big mountain lines in BC, Canada.

This is a raw video with no music. Only fast and impressive mountain biking with the bike sounds.

"Freeriding has a few places in the world that really stand out. Utah with the desert terrain there being so ideal, some forget about the possibility and the desert in British Columbia. The high desert terrain from Kamloops, all the way up past Williams Lake has very similar dirt to Utah. Mason Mashon and I started riding lines along the Fraser River years ago, and when Mason found this zone 4 years ago we went and started piecing lines together. After years of traveling south to Utah to go freeride it was time to point it north." —KC Deane

Nah... post up a recent photo of you or one you took, just cuz you're stoked on it.

I never shoot vertical but was messing around and got this shot of Luca Cometti. I think I'm going to start shooting vertical more often.

Added a new video Conquering King Kong on a Trail Bike 3/17/2017 12:12 PM

VIRGIN, UT – King Kong. Among mountain bikers, the name conjures a mix of fear, respect, and excitement. It has been called “the only shuttle-able Rampage style line on the planet,” by Darren Berrecloth and has been known as a proving ground among fans and freeride legends the world over. Dropping into the exposed knife-ridge over the Utah desert takes not only skill, but a degree of mental fortitude.

Young team rider and Virgin local Lorin Whitaker recently decided to up the ante by dropping in on a trail bike—his 2017 Canfield Brothers Balance. The 18-year-old high school senior says the inspiration came from none other than Lance Canfield who rode the infamous line on the previous generation Balance several years earlier.

“Lance is so much fun to ride with, and he’s always pushing me,” said Whitaker. “I knew he rode it on a Balance, and I wanted to test my skill and test the new bike. It’s so capable.”

Although he’s ridden it countless times on his Jedi, he acknowledges that his first solo run on the Balance was a bit unnerving.

“My mom was waiting at the bottom with the shuttle, so I thought, ‘I’ve got to get down in one piece.'”
