I'd kill for a 27.5" DH bike these days. I'm stuck at 26" for life....?

Too much money, not enough travel.

Yup, can confirm I get way more trail maintenance done with my E-bike: you get to ride so many more descents, so it isn't as frustrating "wasting" ride time on trail maintenance. And you can easily carry a bigger pack with more tools, further. These bikes are not just for lazy rich...more

Except that Ebikes are really awesome as a trail building and maintenance tool.

Maybe people will just learn to accept them because once people put some time in on ebikes they will realize that both non and assist bikes are good.

They sure aren't going away.

Advocacy is uniting. Ebikes are comingand we’re stronger united. Common sense rules dealing with conflicts. They get people on bikes, they get us out more often, more Vert, and can be more fun. If there’s no conflict and advocacy grows and bike shops sell more bikes and repair more...more

LOVE this time of year that I remember I have a whole week of Shreddy Awards. HATE that my bike didn't even get a mention... Oh yeah, I haven't posted any of them. Do you guys still accept bike checks with 26 inch wheels?

These bikes are not really comparable, One is a 27.5 160/170mm travel Enduro slayer and one is a 29" 130 travel trail slayer. Both great in their perspective area of expertise, be it weight, prowness, or price

I spoke to someone at Onyx a couple months ago and unfortunately they will NOT offer a retrofit for existing customers. I’m bummed!

This will be great for American jobs.
Ya know, with all that technical experience and machinery and tooling and raw materials we have here already.

“Some domestic manufacturers of bikes and accessories support the latest round of tariffs, especially in light of the March tariffs on steel and aluminum, which benefitted their competitors who imported complete products. For example, Chris Fortune, the president and owner of Saris Cycle Group, wrote a commentary posted on BRAIN Monday in support of the tariffs.”

"These increased tariffs will help level the playing field for American manufacturers like Saris. We are not asking for special treatment, but rather for an equal playing field in a nondiscriminatory business environment. We are invigorated by competition and our commitment to American craftsmanship continues to serve us well. However, without these tariffs, we will be facing an unfair disadvantage. Our competitors will have cost advantages that will be incredibly difficult to overcome," Fortune wrote.

So this is good news for American manufacturing. Maybe now more American bike companies can start making their bikes here again. I would much rather buy American.
