no offence to Mr. King, but just because you have a good racing resume, doesn't mean you can design tires. Seriously, this industry needs to get away from getting pro riders to 'develop' tires. There are many nobodies out there who have more knowledge on tire design.

just like in MX, you want to go fast, run your fork stiff. It allows you to skip over ruts rather than dive into them. It feels really uncomfortable and forces you ride faster because they barely work going slow!

It would be hard for me to give up on running tubeless (13th year!) but I would like to try this anyway.
Perhaps I was too harsh. Sam Hill is one of the all time greats. His accomplishments on the bike are legendary. By saying 'one trick pony' I was referring to him being very good on steep technical tracks and not so good on flatter pedally tracks.

Lot people always complain about wanting tracks that are "legit downhill tracks."
What is a "legit downhill" track? Should there not be high speed sections? Motorways with big tables? Should every track can be full on gnar and insanely technical the entire time?
