I'm pretty sure Miranda Miller has said she's staying on with Kona even though they don't technically have a team anymore. As for Keegan Wright, he's actually stuck in BC and trying to get back to NZ right now. To be fair that doesn't cover why he went ... more »

Sorry that was actually what I meant. It seems like he may be putting together his own program as opposed to moving to a team with a parts kit already sorted.

It's hard to say for sure, but the lever in Angel Saurez IG story looks a lot like a bronze Hayes Dominion to me.

The Operator has seemed a bit behind for a while now to me. The last update to it was the switch to 29" wheels in 2019. I wasn't surprised at all when they axed the DH program or that they've stopped selling DH bikes. Though I am disappointed.

My point was more that the number of bikes designed around coil shocks is increasing than that there are a lot on the market already. I doubt brands will make bikes with that level of progression, so you're probably stuck with an air shock. Lucky for ... more »

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned that Intense is testing other brands bikes right now, and suggested that the bike in that picture is a Session. I don't remember who it was but I'm sure you could find it a couple pages back.

The Cascades component talk reminded me of this. Having run a mullet myself this past season, this seems pretty cool to me. I do wonder why they went the yoke route as opposed to new drop outs like they did with the Supreme. View this post on ... more »

More and more bikes are coming specced with coils these days, and a lot are being designed around them. Some brands (Norco) even say that the bike shouldn't be run with an air shock. In my personal experience, I've found that bikes tend to come with ... more »

That's pretty interesting considering they have no big 27.5 bikes in their lineup. Looking at the geo of the Spartan and Wilson, I wouldn't think that either would be particularly attractive to him based on his YT set ups. I guess he could just slap ... more »

I assumed this was an announcement for a new Troy at first, but I suppose it could also be a new team member to take Keegan Wright's place. Any pro's on the market who have a 4 letter name and like old caddies? View this post on Instagram A post shared by Cycles Devinci (@cyclesdevinci) ... more »

But it's got a single crown and looks to have a chainstay pivot as well. Also they already made a higher pivot wilson with an idler, and shortly after axed their factory WC team. In hindsight it seams like they probably were just testing the idea before ... more »

I'd heard rumblings that Rocky might be working on a high pivot bike. This looks to be confirmation of that. Seems like half of these NF dudes are on the current slayer as is. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/spotted-another-prototype-high-pivot-bike-in-north-vancouver.html
