Compared to the TRS post, pretty much every post on the market feels like it takes a lot of force to compress. The TRS was very very light action. Ive been on both the TRS and the Vario. The infinite adjust and vastly improved reliability of the Vario dropper makes it a no brainer choice for me.

My wife just put this post on her bike replacing a reverb. My impressions are the same. What impressed me the most was the lever. IMO its a better the the PNW loam lever than I have because of its spring return. Its just crisp and the adjustability is amazing...more

Following a few wrist injuries I am also very sensitive to harshness transmitted through the bars. I found the Shout best when paired with some handlebars offering a bit of give to make up for the momentary harshness that can be experienced on even curb-sized dropoffs. ALL the pivots. Haha....more

Been on these for a few months now. Had a few rock strikes that I was sure were going to do some severe damage but they shrugged em off with barely a scratch. Inner bearing bulge has not really been noticeable to me unless my foot accidentally ends up in the wrong place on the pedal, in which case it seems to help direct it into the right spot. Just checked the bearings this past weekend and they still feel like new.

Nice review. I've been on these for the past 3 months and love them. Tons of grip and super tough after numerous rock strikes. I was a big fan of the originals as well, but happy to see that these are thinner and lighter, and that the unnecessary spin control is gone.
