Radness!
I'd vote for literally anything that is not a Specialized. But this Yeti is pretty cool, so it's an easy choice anyways.
Maybe North Shore Billet protos?

I've been on some T7 Ground Controls for a bit now and I'm really digging them. Great grip for as fast as they roll and no issues with casing durability so far. I'm running the 2.35 on 30mm internal rims and they measure 62mm or 2.44".

Bike of the Day December 19, 2021!
I wouldn't say you are missing something, just looking at it from the opposite side of the spectrum. The post is slammed in the frame (for me) to get it low enough for descending. To get it to the proper height for climbing, I would loosen the collar and pull it up.

Wow. The future is bright.
"Value" is so subjective, especially when compared to the direct to consumer brands. I'd argue that there is a tremendous amount of value missing for the consumer on those dtc bikes that extends well beyond what derailleur is spec'd. Also, if you haven't owned one of their bikes in over 8 years how do you know they are lackluster? I've owned a bunch of bikes in that time span from Santa Cruz, Yeti, Devinci, and Kona and the Konas are as good as any of them (IMHO) and more fun than most of them.

Wow. Didn't take long for a truly breathtaking level of stupidity to rear its ignorant head.
