Thanks. 61 feels about right for this reach and csl. I experimented with 63 to 59 on my last home build. 59 was still good, but it seemed to be diminishing returns below 61. At some point you have to make a call on how much side loading you want to put through your fork bushings. With a linkage fork i’d go a bit slacker, but they look dumb, and sometimes that matters

Typically I visit Vital and PB every day. If there was a race on the weekend that I wasn't able to watch (and sometimes won't find time to watch for a week or more) then I avoid visiting Vital until I've seen the race because I've had results spoiled on this site in headlines and winning bike article thumbnails before. I don't begrudge Vital at all because reporting things like this is to be expected, but it's a little disappointing because I love checking out the site on my coffee breaks and I miss out on that, and Vital misses out on my sweet sweet clicks for that time. I think there are better ways to report on races, e.g. PB still gets my clicks on their non race related articles during that time because it seems they make an effort to not spoil the results in headlines or thumbnails. Just one user's perspective, for whatever it's worth.

My fave is when Redbull puts the still image of the winners on their WC replay. I've intentionally not visited Vital or PB or got on instrgram simply to keep the winner of races I couldn't watch live a mystery then I pull up the Red Bull app and voila there was a still of the winners with a big Play button in the center (forgive me, can't remember who it was, probably Loic and Tracey so let's go with that from now on)... I knew at that moment they won but kept lying to myself as I watched each rider come down the track. Maybe Troy doesn't get 2nd place or perhaps GWIN is miraculously back on form. Nope definitely lies. Loic and Tracey won and the rest of my day was RUINED. Thanks Obama.

OH, so this is how we get you guys to comment...just tweak the format hahaha. Rest assured, I'm hearing the comments and taking them all to heart. The way we did the fort william race show (one podcast audio player along w/ the slideshow player for pics and captions) seemed to be a hit. like mentioned, it offers the "one page" option, too. Returning to that is fine with me. Again, for those who've followed along, when there is a good, long audio, the slideshow really suffers when you're stalled out on one photo for 2-5 minutes as that audio plays. if you advance the photos, the audio gets cut off. it's rad that the difficulty we're having is too much good content : ) @MK_ and photos not loading unless logged in, I'll look into that. didn't know that was a problem. it shouldn't be that way.

Sad issue is that mtbers are being hateful and angry on bicycling sites. It's about as futile as someone venting about a rude encounter (ex. hiker yelling where's your bell) or evidence of misbehavior (ex. littered tubes, food waste) on the trail... the people they're wanting to give a piece of their mind to, likely isn't going to read their judgemental rant. Is this the appropriate place for you to initiate your mental support group session?

In short, the people who are likely to be problematic on e-bikes aren't going to read what you say. All the hate and open judgement is doing more bad, making the community look bad, than doing good (ex. for advocacy), even if you're only speaking for yourself.
