I'm over 230lbs geared up and with Tannus inserts I'm running 21/25psi max and that's in southern BC riding everything. Wow.

"Different flavors of the same rad entertainment."
But it is NOT the same. Not even close.
Wait but I thought driving an electric car was good for the environment
It seems bizarre that they made this decision. They are a PNW company FFS!

Why oh why are Transition using the crap Acros headsets. The amount of times I've worked on a bike (ex bike shop mechanic) with internal routing and found a rusted BB due to water ingress is laughable.
RIP Transition.
Another formerly cool brand goes casual and succumbs to the E-Bike fallacy. And according to the review, the bike is not even that good.
Also: What the fuck are those prices.
Transition usually knocks it out of the park but this is like a ground ball………
Yep that headset is a deal killer and who wants to zip tie cables on a 10,000 dollar investment.
Any engineers who can make a cheap and quality solution to preventing water dripping in with the cables can probably make a buck.
Looking forward to the day when mountain bike companies admit running cables through the headset bearings was laughably stupid and go back to cable routing that doesn't lock customers into proprietary headsets and higher maintenance costs. But unfortunately we probably have a rough few years ahead of us as companies...more
Love it, this "community" seems to be no different than PB. I literally said what majority of the others have stated on here in different way, yet the "burn him at the stakes for what he said/down vote him" mentality prevails...
Never got what mentality? That if a brand or company changes their ethos in one's mind eye that they should blindly continue to support? Having had 4 bikes from them spanning over the years, I have thoroughly enjoyed what they have produced. But a change like this, goes against my morals for bicycles in the mountains....more
Well, as a "diehard" Transition fan, looks like I'll be on to new brands in the near future. Super bummed as I know many of the Transition crew. Didn't think this would happen, at least so soon. Also, from my experience in the environmental science world, MOST trails that are hard to get to on federal land are NON...more
As a Spur owner, and potentially a Spire as well, I'm sad to see Transition on the E-bike train. Especially since their release video for the Spur had a whole Tongue in Cheek skit poking fun at E-bikes.
I think this is a very cool bike with Geo that is spot on , especially for an E-bike. That said I hate what E-bikes represent. To me it is a cheat code that violates the unwritten ethos of MTB riders out in the wild grunting and improving their fitness in pursuit of a beautiful experience. Nothing pisses me off as a...more
Man I love my Bikeyoke Revive seatpost but not offering a wider grip option like 33mm or 34mm is sad for me. We desperately need more thick grip options.
4000 pounds for a frame? What drugs are they on and where can I get some?
Price is outrageous
Why would you want to save maybe 100 grams when you already have a kick ass wheelset? I’m running WAO with I9 1/1 hubs. They’re probably heavier than yours and I find them plenty light. Strong is my first priority though… Maybe build your rims onto new ... more »
Once or twice a year? Maybe those folks need to work on their riding. My carbon wheels (WAO) have been amazing. Best feeling wheels I’ve tried in 30+ years of riding. They take a serious beating and have never even flinched.
