Mr. Stik! Some questions for you: 1) Is funding the largest hindrance to supporting, organizing, and setting up a race series? Is it the venues and their funding? I seem to hear some of the same complaints about the GES and ESC that I used to hear about ... more »
SkaTodd: 1) What U.S. venue would you like to see as the next host for a stop on the UCI World Cup circuit? 2) What does it take to be a Product Director for a brand like GT? 3) I'm starting to get the feeling that UCI World Cup DH race structure may ... more »
SkaTodd, moto-full face wearing jumpline destroyer, and fire road bomber extraordinaire: You taught me everything I know about channeling one's "Inner Side Kick" and helped me perfect my two-step Skank. My question(s) to you is THIS: 1) Carbon Fury DH? ... more »
To me, "Greatest of All Time" doesn't just mean wins or medals - it's about more than that. I mention Peaty because he's more than podiums - his guidance to riders like Fairclough, Beaumont, "The Don" Neil Donoghue, and Bryceland was critical in helping ... more »
For Downhill: Steve Peat. Think about it... For Enduro: Give it another 10 years.

Kidwoo:
"The whole reason the freecaster commentary was so awesome was because he was excited and screaming about people and a sport he knows really well in a field he's passionate about. It ruled because it WASN'T trained subdued crap. That already exists everywhere and what warner brought was way more real. See recent rampage commentary if you really think redbull knows what they're doing here.
Red Bull likes to pride themselves on unique, one of a kind events, why don't they want a unique, one of a kind commentator any more? Oh well....."

foam grips and no bash? come on- it would have weighed 33.3 lbs with lock-ons and a bash guard. then i wouldn't have had to make this stupid comment.
"While no bash guard may seem crazy, it'd be just fine on all but the rockiest DH courses."
You're FIRED turman!
Fabien, you listened to your body and the pain you were experiencing which is good, but always check in with the medics and a doctor after a bad crash. They're trained professionals who can find something you've missed. Thank God you did not get paralyzed. I would strongly consider wearing a back plate from now on. With the speed people carry these days it's just too gnarly not to wear one... besides - no one has ever received a crash replacement for their spine. Rest easy, and heal up soon!
