they still have Charlie Hatton who's no slouch on a bike in anyway. Wilson, Hatton and Edwards is a pretty solid young team with a huge ceiling.

Not so much a rumor but looks like Canada's carbon heroes will be sponsoring a race team this year.

I feel Reece is fucking with the team rumors community. I really cant see Trek having Gwin, Wilson, Hatton and Edwards all on one team. If anything its more likely that Trek will have Wilson, Hatton and Kade next Year and Gwin and Neko have some new ... more »

Could we also be looking at the Athertons moving to Scott as their Title/Frame sponsor? Scott clearly has been working on a new bike design, as we saw for a good chunk of last year. Getting some wins under the bikes belt would be good advertising and ... more »

I cant see the Gwin to Intense thing happening. But him moving back to Trek, that makes much more sense. Gee earlier this year talked about how he was blown away with treks prototype and testing support when they were testing the 29er. He said he sent ... more »

Understood.

I was more just trying to reiterate that Set Screws are going to be more problematic than a socket head rear load design. Trying to find a set screw at your local hardware store will be much trickier than a standard socket head... hell probably not even gonna be commonly found at a bike shop... So if you are on a road trip and need to replace pins, more likely to find a socket then a set screw. I am not saying these pedals are no good I am sure their design and feel is great but...I am just thinking more about the End User.

I will say though, Online from a place like McMaster-Carr you can save a lot of money buying a bulk pack of 50 screws, Socket head or Set screw style for about 6 bucks. So I encourage people to just find out your screw dimensions on your pedals and order a box so that you are never without replacement pins.

I think it should be taken into consideration that set screws are a very poor idea for pedal pins. If you ride in rocky conditions whats the plan when you destroy the screw or sheer it off? how is someone supposed to get the destroyed pins out?

I know this is a initial review and not a long term review but lets be real... Set screws are for Wellgo Pedals
