Eh, but NX is heavy, and the frames are built to last. Its an enduro bike, not a trail bike.
I applaud Transition for making bikes that are servicable, reliable and (likely) to outlast the competition.
I'm riding one of their alloy frames now. My bike is not light. I have no problems going uphill...more

Awesome and congrats man. Did you keep the alloy? I dont think ill ever buy anything but a tranny again. Hands down my favorite bike ive owned

first few rides I definitely felt like it was more poppy/nimble, but didn’t feel as glued to the ground as the alloy. Alloy just felt like a tank which is awesome when things get rough. I think the geo of the sentinel is what really makes it great. Carbon or alloy they both rip

What is most notable differences besides weight in your opinion? Had an 18 alloy patrol and was gonna do the same as you, but decided on a tr11 instead...

As a flat pedal rider for now, this bike compared to the old one is way more stable. My feet are really stable on it, and the bike feels like it has quite a bit more travel than the previous generation.

I can relate to this guy, I used to wear jeans and cargo pants as part of my race kit 15yrs ago. Cheap and comfy. This guy has momentum and I hope he gets some factory help.

It is in Bellingham, but we will have to keep this trail name and location off the interwebs. Come to town, stop by the HQ, drink a beer, and I bet you will get some beta on how to get to this flowy loam track we have tucked away.
