I just pulled my Vital 2020 calendar off the wall, I'd forgotten about the picture on the back and Laughed Out Loud. Maybe someone with the image can post it instead of me taking a crap phone photo. Seems a sure bet the frenchies like screwing with each

That's my boy Nils, he crushes the manual game! Compensates for my complete ineptitude at said game...

Yeah, but which tire would you like in the back if things get loose or steep or wet?

I came here to complain about the Dissector, I live in Australia obviously, so this should be my ultimate tire. Makes me feel a bit unpatriotic posting this, but anyway. I've got no complaints about grip in loose dusty stuff, but part of the reason I like Maxxis in Australian conditions is they hold up... second ride on the Dissector (EXO+ MaxxTerra) I saw a bunch of these weird growths of sealant where it looked like the middle knobs had been ripped and sealant had plugged it up. Several rides later and I'm wondering how long some of the side knobs will stay attached to the carcass. I suppose that's not Troy's fault, more Maxxis so maybe I can sleep well tonight.

The knobs are tall, even compared to an Assegai, I wonder if this contributes to the ripping. I don't slide much unless I have to stop in a hurry, so it seems kinda strange that I'm going to kill it pretty quick, when a DHR2 or a DHF or a Griffin would hold up fine. I've enough half used ones stashed in the garage to attest to this.

Have you studied how much weight reduction improves suspension? I'm not 100% convinced that reducing unsprung mass makes the bike go noticeably faster. If we are splitting hairs on descending performance why not chase the lost watts while climbing? I guess you could walk up and coast down with no...more

MaxxTerra version here. Tread was mostly roasted, especially center lugs in 6 weeks. Still running Assegai front some 8 months later.

$5 Dollarbucks he's still chilling at home this year, the way WA travel restrictions are. Still prefer Sam Hill's trolling to endless "Let me black out the frame I'm riding next year until I get enough youtube/insta likes". Maybe he's trolling them instead. ... more »

You can't get back into Western Australia without mandatory quarantine, even from most states in Australia, never mind overseas. So he's probably decided to stay home and enjoy life as others have said, it's just too hard to get back in once you leave. ... more »

yes, indeed I still have the same shock. Seems like it's an 2018/19 problem. I've got the shock serviced and they used higher quality (than regular Fox) grease. Hope it'll be OK now. Seems like the 2020 X2s are better

Pretty sure it's a given she's moving to Absolute Absalon, since they are together and Julian is running his own team now etc. I could be wrong, but watch the RB video with Rob Warner and it seems kinda obvious.

I find it so ironic how enve is trying to be more pocket friendly now... they used to be like” we’re the best so give us your money” now they’re like “we’re not the best anymore but please buy this cheaper stuff so we don’t go out of business, oh also our competitors make the same stuff for...more

Thanks! Yeah it has, figured it was just mine, didn't realise it was was other peoples too. It doesn't lose heaps but it needs checking regularly . I've serviced the air sleeve a few times, I just figured I had a leaky valve. Still have the same shock?
