depends on the bike! one inch rise fore slope and Fr bikes. and two inches on the dirt jumper. XC is 1/2 inch

i concentrate on dirt jumping but getting involved in a different type of riding has put me into great shape. try out an XC bike or even a road bike

angles depend on how far away the roll in is from the take off and how high you are willing to make your drop in. A lot of dirt jump building is preference though. if you wanted to make a wood drop in try looking at theres some good ideas ... more »

My friend and I have access to dirt but we wanted to build some jumps out of plywood and 2/4s we are looking to build smooth takeoffs and landings but we heard there were some particular angles and strategies for building them. any tips?
