As somebody who has American parents and who has lived and worked most his life in various English-speaking countries/companies, I might contest your use of the term "widely believed" in this context, as "niggles" is definitely a term used in many places to describe "minor issues" (and certainly...more
If you’ve never road and E bike 25+ miles on an MTB trail (test riding one in a parking lot a few hundred feet doesn’t count!) then your opinion is bullshit. You’re probably the same person that thinks they can be a lawyer/cop because they watched a few episodes of law and order. The...more
Yeah Bruce Klein! That kid is motivated, so impressed with his results this year.

What bummer for Greg wth the flat. Him and gwin just seemed on another level and would have been awesome to see clean runs from both. Hats of to gwin though. Guy's a beast
Minnaar went down hard in practice this morning, might be really sore tomorrow. Could this season be more exciting?! And of course it's going to rain ...

AG is simply phenomenal. I am witnessing a legend in his time. Congrats on an unbelievable win!
Definitely one of the best runs in the history of the sport! While Danny's run was smooth and playful Gwin simply attacked like it was dry. So hard to compare them. His rear tire less run was sick too! Nico had some sick runs/10 + second victories in the 90's too. Whether it was the best run of all time doesn't really matter, it was insane and just adds to Gwin's legend!

Just gonna throw this out there, Gwin's Val Di Sol run in 2012 was up there.
They're all worthy, for me it's hart's champery run, the legendary commentary adds to it and his margin of victory, age, and fact that its world champs in conditions as gnarly as anything I've ever seen (maybe with exception of lourdes this year, that was...more
These best runs ever always forget Kovarik at ft William in 2002. Over 14 seconds!
Gwins Windham run 2015 was sick, probably not the best but 3.5 seconds up on a two and a half minute track was pretty cool to watch.
All great out-of-nowhere wins. But nothing tops the pressure-cooker win of Minnaar at home in 2013.

That manual after the stevie smith drop (@1:06) to keep out of that hole is fucking mental. Shows just the insane level of talent, where lots were just holding on, he was still destroying...
Wild time spreads in all categories, shows how tough of a track that was.
And how about the Top Two Jr Women having 4th place times in Pro Women, Nesteroff would have been 6th in Pro Men too.
Notable: Demitri bringing the heat in Pro Men for 5th!
Yeah Fred! Had the pleasure of coaching him when he was 78! He did the Leadville 100 when he was 80 and finished in under 12 hours earning the coveted belt buckle. Fred is my hero!

Most exciting season yet. Flats actually add to the excitement of racing. It is always a trade off, lower pressure for more control or slightly higher pressure to make sure you finish at the sake of control. It's a choice every racer has to make.

So pumped for Troy, he's been so consistent in the last few years, it must have been frustrating not to get any wins.
Fun fact of the day: Out of the 21 world cups between his 2 wins, Troy finished outside the Top 10 only 3 times. Of those 3 times, 2 were due to the skies opening up for the...more
Hoping to to see Luca Shaw in the hot seat for a long time tomorrow! Great to see Luca Cometti and Kiran in there too. Minnaar for the win!

Durango was one of the most fun tracks ever! So glad they are finally opening up that track again! Wentz out bucked everybody off that drop, was the sickest thing I had ever seen done on a mtb at the time!
