If this was the final stage and the corner cutting caused him to win the series over Moir? How would that be fair?
Gates have been used for ages in enduro as courses can't be 100% taped like dhi or xco. If you're one of the top racers in the world, you know...more

The penalty seems a bit harsh for the violation. Rude should have known the rules though…only one other rider made the same line choice.

Honest question: have you ridden any kind of ebike? (Not a Walmart special but a brand-name, legit ebike with big name components? Did it suck? Did it break?) Not saying you can't express your opinion without direct experience but it would help us understand your POV.

I've been riding MTBs for 30 years and I was pretty...more

I have to say, I’m not a big fan of the viewpoint that you hold on this. emtbs are motorized sure, but they are not a dirtbike. There’s a pretty big difference between the two, and it is not difficult to discern between them. Pedal assist bikes can be hugely beneficial, and for all the reasons that syngltrckmnd stated above.

I think as long as e-bikes are not just a category in a normal race but actually have their own specific course designed to test riders and bikes then it is ok. EWS has their "power stage" which is an uphill race on super steep tracks. That is perfect for an e-bike. GNCC has an e-bike category with specific courses and distances...more

this track was mental! no wonder why those big guns like minnar or peaty are still on the top if they were able to hit this things on such bikes at such speeds back then!! wonder how many of todays young boys would be able to do that...

I was there! GM's rock jump was legendary. That track was awesome. You can still see remnants, like under that lift (which is now Gondi 1), unfortunately that's a new hiking only trail. Bummer.

It's a little foggy, I remember trying to flirt with Marla Streb at a...more

XC racing, especially at the World Cup or Olympic level, is insanely gnarly! Besides the physical abilities required you would never find me sending it on a 100mm bike with a straight post. Head to head racing is pretty exciting as well!
