Are you me? I've also had my Spire with an X2 for about two weeks and it feels amazing. I just raced it over the weekend at Ashland and moved up 6 places in my category compared to the early season on my old Patrol. I set the rear end up with reccommended settings based on the...more

This has a similar level of exposure to Blue Dot or Portal in Moab, or Hangover in Sedona if you are familiar with those trails. You would have to try really hard to actually fall off of a cliff. Nice views thoughwink

Such a great piece. Peaty is the best.

EDIT: Maybe this would have yielded bigger differentials if he did it at a world cup track? Can someone comment as to the gnar factor of that track?Just curious. BTW, pretty cool they brought Bryceland back as Peaty's mechanic. (that was a joke)

Ok, really, great lineup to review here. Something for everyone. Having spent more days than I expected this summer riding bike parks on my trail bike, it really shows that they're not cut out for it. It's exhausting getting clobbered around DH trails at speed. Sure, the geo's more or less there, the...more

That incredibly long, skinny wood bridge is an absolute abomination and should never be in a race course, but the pace Brian carried on that was really impressive

Interesting perspective. So are you saying there’s no difference between a VW and an Audi or a Toyota and a Lexus or a Maxxis and a CST?

I like using CS/wheelbase since that accounts for HA etc. But I’ve never tested it on scales to see if it’s a better metric.

Good call. Typical cutoff for beer gear is 40, otherwise you look like you’re trying way too hard.
