Beautiful build! Advent X (and Advent) is remarkable for the price--and it really does shift very well!

Indeed! Im really satisfied with its performance.
Cheap, so far reliable, and the system is a lot lighter.
Also i dont really miss that 2 additional gear thats on my eagle, at all.

Questions then. Where can one source the frame/bike?
I see you run it w/ 29" fork but 275 wheels. I'd assume the frame accepts both wheel sizes.Is that really so?

As far as im aware, sadly it wont be a production model.
This might change in the future, but for now im the lucky one 😀 For wheel sizes, You're right, it runs with 29 also.

That is really well done. I love the paint and graphics. Super practical build also. How much did covid play into it? Or were you still able to pick all the parts you had in mind? Either way, it looks perfect to me. Looks like a fun bike...and not to dentisty or too hipster. It's hard to find that middle ground on a project like this.

Im really glad you like it 🙂 It is a fun bike, pretty cheap to maintain. Something that i kept in mind.
It actually turned out as I wanted. For some parts I had to wait more than others. Probably the casette was the hardest part. Basically had no 10sp casette in stock anywhere, so i gave this one a chance and man, it shifts as good as any "bigboys" stuff and is pretty light also.
Im pretty pleased with the overall looks and quality. At the moment there is nothing i would change, maybe the grips.
