And finally Greg Minnaar! The pressure on the home-town hero was immense. The local press, radio , TV and his legions of fans have been clamouring for a piece of him. And after every rider came down the track the announcers were predicting his time to be a lot slower than it was. As the clocked ticked, the likable local raised his game and bested second place time by over 2 seconds and showered off that pressure with praise. WELL DONE GREG!
