Waiting for the Rain - Leogang World Cup 2011 6
For the third stage of the 2011 championship the world cup circus is in Leogang (Austria). Weather forecasts at the beginning of the week were terrible, rain was expected from Thursday all the way to Sunday night.
Waiting for the downpour was the main topic of conversation in the paddock, not just for the riders but also for the photographers and videomakers. Unexpectedly, however, the weather was clement and all free practice, qualifying sessions and the race itself were dry. With rain coming in the evenings and at night, the track was always muddy and challenging. The final drop over roots and mud severely tested the ability of all the riders.
In the end we had and epic race which saw another success for Aaron Gwin. In this "Waiting for the Rain" video, Tri-ride tells you the story of the race. Enjoy it! - tri-ride.com

Sure, I agree it was definitely the greatest WC vid by far... Great vid from tri-ride guys. They reached the heart of the thing.. it's like you've been there. Loved the details of the terrain and riders.

Great to see this kind of footage and edit quality outside of major DVD's!

Brendans style on that jump looked horrible haha he must have failed something :D
But great edit! Really nice to see some quality video of a WC and not just some riding clips with music and then interviews in the finnish area.
