Yo dudes, a tip for riding with a skinned knee. Take an old polynoncotton sock and cut off the foot part. Slip it on before you put on pads and it keeps the pad from rubbing your knee rawer and the polynoncotton stuff doesn't stick to the raw spot too much. The ones I use have ridges on the outside so I turn them inside out for even less skin/meat contact. On a different note, that seems like the perfect kind of track to prove the viability of 650 DH bikes. Seems to work.
