Video: Elevate Mountain Bike Camp
The first Elevate Mountain Bike Camp presented by ZEE, is in the bag and so are many of the riders and coaches. After 5 days of amazing riding at Silver Star Bike Park the camp concluded with a great BBQ on the deck of the Saloon for parents, riders and coaches. All together there were some big and dusty grins from all the riders.
Elevate was designed for riders age 12-17, to focus on progressing in a fun and safe environment. From dirt jumping to railing berms, to downhill racing, Matt, Thomas and Kenny worked with all the riders to learn new tricks and build on their solid biking backgrounds.
The inaugural Elevate camp went off without a hitch and the weather and park conditions made for some amazing laps all week long.
This year’s camp had representatives from as far away as California, Edmonton and Prince George as well as many locals and lower mainland rippers. Next year’s camp is set to be held back at Silver Star again during the first week of July.
