VIDEO: Specialized Racing at Hafjell, Norway World Cup 4

Mitch Ropelato and Troy Brosnan hold it down for the Big S at the World Cup in Hafjell, Norway. Teammate, Aaron Gwin, did not race due to an injury suffered at World Champs.

The gravity-fed guys go way, way north for the penultimate round of the 2013 UCI Downhill World Cup held at Hafjell, Norway. Troy Brosnan and Mitch Ropelato headline for Specialized Racing, while Aaron Gwin is forced to sit out due to a shoulder injury sustained at the World Championships.

In rain-soaked conditions, Mitch's development continues, cracking the top-20 with a fast run despite a mishap. Troy posts another top-10 but clearly will not be satisfied until he hits the top step of the podium.

Mitch - not going to Leogang? That's what it sounded like.

That's what I'm taking out of it. If so, that seems odd - I would think Leogang plays to his strengths more than some of the other courses thus far this season. *head-scratch*

Patience plays just as big of a role as confidence. Troy's time will come.

For sure. If he can get back to the level he was at prior to his injury last season, he'll be poised to be the next Hill/Gwin/Smith. I can see him somewhere on the podium this weekend. Top-box??
