Projekt Roam: Vital Quick Rip - Snake Charmer Trail, Durango, CO

Video file

With a moniker in honor of the previous rattle-adorned residents that were relocated! The Snake Charmer Trail is a sanctioned, near mile long, progressive trail that is full of character and a diversity of options. With average trail grades of 20% or more and quite the mixed variety of nature-inspired features and riding surfaces, Snake Charmer Trail is similar to a schizo on a good binge. The trail is scattered with the unexpected, but entertains you throughout the entire ride. Your tires slash bermed corners, traverse rock-armored singletrack, launch off boulders and ledges and roll over bridges of natural stone. Rock jumps and gardens are no strangers to this trail, but there are also go-arounds for the features encountered along the way. The Snake Charmer Trail was built for intermediate to advanced level riders, with the intention to help riders progress and hone their riding skills. The Snake Charmer Trail is located at the Horse Gulch Trailhead in Durango, CO and is a great time for those looking for some freeride-style trail action.
