Tzouhalem | Coming Home

The feeling experienced when returning to a long-time favorite riding location has an inherently good impact on one's perceived riding abilities. The capability to look at features and instantly remember how to ride them is a coveted skill we all know too well. This feeling of nostalgia envelops us, we remember the brutal crashes, and the hundreds of run-ins to that one jump.

Vancouver Island and more specifically, The Cowichan Valley, has never been matched in terms of beautiful and pristine riding conditions. The trails continuously improve through hard work from many of the locals, and some prominent trail builders such as one of my closest friends, Trevor Thew. We've been riding these trails since we could ride bikes and like a fine wine, they only improve with age.
