Santa Cruz Syndicate's New Video: 2012 Val di Sole World Cup 7
The Syndicate arrives in Italy, and gets back to racing after what seems like an eternity. Mixed fortunes abounded here - Josh Bryceland qualified 7th but then slipped a pedal and did some dirt surfing in the final. Peaty got pinballed by the course (along with just about everyone else), finishing 14th when the dust settled. Greg Minnaar, after a close-fought win at the opening round in Pietermaritzburg, claimed a strong 2nd in both qualifying and the main, and now shares the World Cup lead with Aaron Gwin (who scorched the entire field here, stomping both quallies and the main by margins of more than 7 seconds...).

Gutted. Hopefully he has a full a speedy recovery, although it sounds like he's banged-up something fierce.

How many races runs do you have to blow b/c of a slipped pedal before you get yourself clipped-in?

True. Also, Josh has one of the strongest accents I've ever heard.

^ It can be anyone's style. It doesn't take long to get used to being clipped in... although getting out without tipping over takes a bit longer, haha.

I rode a few times clipped in and hated it. I read articles that could have convinced me to go back to flats. But I pushed through the fear and strangeness, got better shoes, and now I can't imagine riding flats. I love being clipped in. I ride all mountain though, no dh.
