Sad to see GM play the weather card on this one. Sam came down in some greezy shit. Tons of riders before him were stacking all over the rocks and somehow he looked on rails through the roughest bits. No doubt the rain kicked in hard for Gee and Peaty, but I've heard Peaty say in other vids how things get grippier/faster in the rain because it washes the slick mud off. I say fair play to Sam... he rode insanely well and I'm not convinced anyone would have made up 2+ seconds on him had they raced at the exact moment.
