The SP and ABP designs are identical, except for that the chainstays are the external half on the SP and they are the internal half on the ABP (for last year's design... I think they are actually identical this year). The SP doesn't have a floating lower shock mount, since it's bolted through the frame pivot. ...so basically it's a kona-type 4-bar with a nifty rear axle concentric (ABP type) pivot. That Izumu pivot design is dope... I'm also curious about how well it stays put.

I don't think the Makulu is better off with that straight top tube...the previous version was SICK, why change?

Wow! I think that was one of the most informative product videos in a long time. Definitely felt like I learned a lot. Good work guys!
Still curious as to how the geometry adjust on the Izimu stays put though...
