I have come to realize that I am truly blessed to ride and train on some of the best trails in California. In Auburn, where I do most of my riding, The American River Confluence Trail System contains a great variety of trails and trail features; from rock gardens, to jumps and flowing trails, everything a mt biker can want is close by. Like many trail systems, one must know where to look to find the good rides and where to have the most fun. Yet, when I am at races and in conversations with many other fellow riders, I often hear that other riders love to ride in Auburn, but have a very limited idea where the trails are and how to link one trail to the next. After dozens of these conversations, I have decided to create a youtube channel titled - Auburn Trail Guide, which will showcase each trail in Auburn, how to get to it and the STRAVA data on the ride (elevation, distance, speed...). I am hoping to use this to showcase the trails and ease the use of the trails that I know and love.
It is very rough now, but please feel free to check out the site as it grows and I compile more rides -
