I was at that race and I can simply say it's got to be the best Urban downhill in the world. Awsome riders crazy spectators, the BEST!! Does anyone know the name of the song???
We really need an event like this in San Fransisco! It would be cool to have some of the mt. tam guys ride their klunkers down the streets next to the course as a kind of parade lap and tribute to the godfathers of the sport. You might be able to use that angle to get the city behind it.
Every photo and video clip from this event made it look gay, until I saw this. Well done Lucent, I can't believe the sh*t these guys ride...impressive all the way around.
