SR Suntour shows off their updated fork line at Sea Otter.
The air-sprung Epicon model is now available for 26, 27.5 or 29-inch wheels, features 32mm stanchions, magnesium lowers, 15mm thru-axle and either a remote lock-out or crown lock-out option. You can also get the fork with or without low-speed compression adjustment.
The biggest news coming out of SR Suntour is the announcement of the Auron enduro/all-mountain fork. The forks are air-sprung and built around 34mm stanchions achieving up to 160mm of travel. The damper options feature low-speed compression adjustment, hi and lo-speed compression adjustment or remote lock out option w/ LSC adjustment. Their 15mm thru-axle features the Q-lock 2 release system which is incredibly fast and easy to use.
Finally the RUX downhill fork uses 38mm stanchions, hi- and lo-speed compression adjuster and adjustable air spring. The air spring uses a system with 5 spacers that allow you to make the spring curve more linear or progressive based on your riding style and needs. The 20mm axle features a tool-free system.
The SR Suntour forks are built around the QSP design. The Quick Service Product is a closed cartridge system that is easy to remove, maintain, adjust and re-install. From XC all the way up to DH, the forks feature this QSP design.
