NZ going good so far...spent first two days getting bank accounts drivers licenses tax ids car shopping and drinking flat whites. Flew air NZ and they are pretty accommodating with luggage and bikes, although it has gone up a bit in the last year. still better and cheaper tickets and excess charges than any other airline.
And for the record i don't hate on 29'ers, and I'm not afraid of pedaling, but Im against the type of "enduro" or super d courses that a 29'r would be a good choice of bike on. Not saying people cant shred rough gnarly terrain on especially it it suits their body size and style and skill level, but generally courses that any short travel steep head angle tall bike can do well on in a "gravity event" isnt really the gravity event I'm interested in doing. but for record Anka still hates them regardless.
