Graham Agassiz Bike Check 12

Graham Agassiz gives us a run down on his 2010 Kona Stab Supreme.

In true fashion, Graham was right at home on his DH bike and ripped up the mini bike park in Farallones.

Features
Marzocchi 888 RC3 EVO
Marzocchi Roco World Cup with 350lb spring
Shimano Saint Drivetrain
Easton Havoc DH Bars and Stem
Easton Havoc DH Wheelset
e.thirteen LG-1 Chainguide

The earthquake had ruined plans for yet another video during the trip. We were shut down early by the park staff and weren't able to complete what I had in mind for the shoot.

you cant tailwhip or barspin a triple clamp fork like that so, if you want to ride slopestyle on a dh go for it but you wont win anything. if it was setup for bmx the jumps would be half the size and probly in a parking lot not on the side of a mountian.... its too bad it got cut short on ya but it still came out to be a pretty solid clip.

Slopestyle should go back to needing big bikes like this... quit trying to be bmx.

TRex - I hear what you're saying. A lot of stuff like detailed info on the setup was planned to be shot the next day at the park. I think the guys @ Kona had set up the bike for him before shipping it, and we were waiting on an email confirmation with exact numbers. but like I mentioned in the description, the earth shake kinda screwed with everyone's plans. We didn't have power or email access for a few days, and Graham and Andreu ended up heading down to Santiago a day before everyone else....so most stuff was nixed from the vid. I wish we would have had just one more day to shoot at the park and get proper 'planned' shots of the bike/riding instead of just me running around while Graham was shredding. I still wanted to salvage the bike check so I tried to make it a combo ride/bike check clip to keep it interesting. I promise the next bike check I/Vital does will have more tech info for you geeks Smile

Nice whips and riding for sure, but here's a suggestion to anyone doing a bike check in the future. Maybe do a bit more setup insight? You can look at a bike and see the 'awesome cranks' or 'sweet brakes' or 'bars that didn't bend'. That sounds like a useless product plug. I know it's cool to have a bit of a product plug, but at least let me know if your 'super sick roco' is on the stiff side or if you are pulling 360's with it in full squish dh trail setup. Hopefully that'll help some people who see this try some different setups or parts at your more personalized recommendation. I hope this isn't viewed on a bash on Graham, none meant. Nice bike, rad riding.

To see a DH bike moved around like that is skill and muscle for sure. Good call "bturman".

holy shit 360's a stab...man that brings it back to when people where still doing crankworks on demo's, people were going nuts over bearclaw's 360's, and a good old suicide no hander thrown in.
