Gee Atherton went down hard at the end of the rock waterfall during practice on Thursday at the Mont Sainte Anne World Cup. He ended up going to the ER for x-rays on his shoulder and was unsure he'd race. Some 24 hours later, he qualified and ended up 11th!
Gee is no stranger to being horribly abused at Mont Sainte Anne only to come back with incredible race performances.
Check out Gee's 2012 practice crash video here. He ended up racing and finished 4th that year!
In 2013 Gee Atherton blew off course into the trees at Mont Sainte Anne! Thanks for the memory jog, canadmos!
