Can Aaron Gwin G-Out His Downhill Bike? 9

We challenged Aaron Gwin to a G-Out Project at Fontana this weekend. All he had to do was bottom out his Specialized S-WORKS Demo 8, front and rear. Two hucks-to-flat off a picnic table later, he was unsuccessful, barely getting his FOX 40 more than halfway squished. Despite the lack of bottom-out, Gwinny gets some serious bonus points for proper G-Out Project form; bar-hump approach, cement corner casing and dialed helmet and goggle styling. Gwin approaches with proper bar-hump form But he can't quite get the bottom-out up front. The G-Out Fail Highlights YEAH GWINNY! Bring on the 2015 World Cup.

Yeah, uh, a picnic table drop wouldn't even bottom out my trail bike. If he bottomed out his DH bike off a picnic table, he'd had serious problems in WC races.

It's probably just an iPad Mini collecting data for the big S engineers.
