Big Jumps, Bigger Cases - The Learning Curve at Red Bull Hardline 25

Meanwhile in Wales, the average head angle was slackened by approximately 7-degrees today.

Big blasting, big casing and lots of style in between at Red Bull Hardline.

I wonder how many rear wheels and shocks needed replacing/ rebuilding after today. They are some tricky jumps if these guys are casing them. Can any one work out who it was that cased heavily (hope he is alright) at 1:47?

You know these are serious jumps if Brayton isn't clearing them straight off

For a minute I was like, "Hey racer boys, check out the Fest Series for some instructional guidance and inspiration." Then I watched Gee Atherton's POV video and shut right up. The run-ins to these jumps are just as crazy as the jumps themselves.

we stooped seeing that when the atherton series ended
but we don't see it more from im because you only see im at races, and the bike pointed forward is faster than sideways

Am I the only one that thinks the Fest Series guys could show these racer punks a thing or two on these baby jumps?

Doubt they are quick enough to carry speed thru the tech to clear them

I feel like Andreu and Nico could do pretty well here, don't forget their racing backgrounds

This is the case of getting enough speed, not the size of the gap. And if some of the fastest racers in the world have issues getting speed, you think it would be otherwise for Fest people? The run ins at Fest are all smooth and clean. Not the case here. All the top 80 racers could clear any gap at Fest any time. Not sure if the guys from Fest would make the cut in the finals at a World Cup. Though, I have full respect and apreciation for both of them. The gaps aren't babies, and it's not about teaching. It's apples and oranges. Cheers
