hey zach, sorry to turn this into a thread about broken shit. but i hope you are right about keeping this up until you are wearing depends. what the fuck would any of us do without that adrenaline? as long as you keep your focus on the art / creative purpose that is clearly a big part of your vids and your dirt jumps, at least you will be taking those risks for a greater purpose. and maybe work on getting some good health insurance for the rest of it...this sport is either an orthoped's nightmare or wet dream, i'm not sure which...

There are some days ZD has trouble getting out of bed and walking around (including old skateboard/snowboard injuries), and I worry about having to push him around in a wheelchair when we're old...but it's obviously well worth it...Not many men his age could keep throwin down with the young kids...sickest edit yet!!!

I'm gona be 37 soon. I need elbow and knee surgery right now. I crash a lot, and crash hard. I could go on and on about broken vertabrae, torn ligaments, metal plates in my joints, but the bottom line is, I live for this shit. I will shred til i cant do it any more, and hopefully i'll be still shredding the shit outa something when i'm 80. lol

Seriously? Damn when I see some of the falls you boys take- especially at the AT comp, I just assumed you all were well under 30. I had a pretty lame crash at Denver skatepark that cost me two weeks of work and almost a month of good riding. You must never wreck or you have a very high pain threshold. Also prolly were the beer comes in. At dh nationals only 3 or 4 guys over 20 beat my time in my class. I guess I can throw down sometimes too. Killer vids...keep them up...
