    “Affordable protection from Fox”

The Good: A good looking helmet for the price, light, fairly comfortable, easy to use thanks to a clip instead of buckle, easy to wash

The Bad: Does not work very well with a Leatt, liner above forehead slides down, cheapish interior, the plastic peak nob is not strong enough, rubber trim peels off

    Overall Review:

A sturdy, affordable beginner helmet. It saved my head from a substantial rock hit. It did what it was supposed to. Unfortunetly the price reflects some build quality issues-it is not that comfortable and things start to break after a couple months. Its a helmet, it does what its needs to do, but nothing more.

    “practical and affordable”

The Good: This helmet is pretty cheap. just over $100 and is a pretty good helmet for that price. Goggles fit easy and stay in place. Design on the helmet looks really cool.

The Bad: Does not like to fit well with a leatt brace, the helmet hits the brace and pushes your head down sometimes. It also has somewhat of an uncomfortable fit. The liner also likes to slide down on the top brim of the helmet.

    Overall Review:

If you are looking for a good looking cheap helmet, this is the one for you. Itdoesn't cost much and is all you need if you are not racing DH every weekend. It does have some problems, but i guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. i would suggest it for an amateur or intermediate rider that just needs something to wear when they go to the bike park every once in a while. Not for an every weekend DH racer

    “Comfy bulk”

The Good: It is quite comfortable. Goggles, at least my smith ones fit well with it. It is not too hot, and it looks great! I will also add that it is INCREDIBLY protective.

The Bad: The visor does not go high enough, but that is not really important. I just like to only see the very tip of my visor, but in the end, It's just fashion. Also, it is a tad bit heavy, but completely worth it for the amount of protection.

    Overall Review:

Definately a sturdy helmet. Its very comfy, and looks great. One tip would be to go up a size higher than you think you need, because in my opinion, it is sized a bit small. If you are looking for an ultralight lid, then you might want to check out something else, but if you don't mind a little extra weight and want to have a comfy head, then check this out. It is highly affordable, and looks great! Also, it is very safe. I recently had a crash that shattered my collarbone and sent me cartwheeling several yards, but I hardly felt anything on my head. A couple week later I was looking at my gear from the crash and noticed that there was a big hole in the helmet. It looks like my head slammed into a sharp rock. THe hole was right on my temple, and this lid saved my life. The extra weight is definitely worth it for the outstanding protection. I will always trust Fox now. THis is a great lid at an amazing price that WILL save your head. I highly recommend it!
