“A sweet ride”
The Good: It is a great handling 6" travel DH bike. The travel seems much more than 6 and it easily out-performs my Fox 36 rc2 vans. I've swapped up to some 66rlc's to see if they can do the frame justice.
The Bad: It's a bit heavy (heavier than 8lb I'm sure) depending on tires and shock it can run at about 39lb, but I got it down to 37 with an air shock and LUST tyres for the megavalanche.
Overall Review:
I love it. I like to look around for bikes, but everything I see, when you compare the geometry etc. isn't a mini DH bike, it's a burly trail bike. Commencal committed to making play DH bike and they did it. If you go to the Alps once a year and are not a racer, this is a great, versatile bike to own.
