    “Does the job!”

    The Good: Price, durability, reliability

The Bad: Weight, paint wears off too easily

    Overall Review:

I used this cranks for 2 or 3 years and did not have a single problem with them, the only reason I changed them was because of the weight.

If you are building a bike on a budget you should definitely opt for these, you just put them on and forget them.

If, on the other hand, you have weight concerns or if the fact that the paint on them wears very easily puts you out, search for another option.

Bottom of the line is, they do their job, and they do it great, if you're on a budget, go for it.

    “solid foot holders”

The Good: they handle the abuse, ive had them on my dh bike for waay too long now and they are still dialed

The Bad: heavy, a little bulky

Overall Review: reliable cheap cranks that get the job done and keep doing it

    “Reliable lead boat-anchors.”

The Good: Cheap, very robust, Howitzer BB is compatible with many chain guides

The Bad: Heavy, Saints and Hozfellers are better

Overall Review: If you need a cheap crank-set where weight isn't really a problem these are ideal, especially if you live somewhere rainy or are likely to power wash your bike after a ride. If weight is a problem, a Stylo might be a good option

“Good price, durable but heavy as hell.”

The Good: Low pricerange so its affordable, verry stiff and the bearings are smooth and long-lasting.

The Bad: A bit overweight, the paint wears off fast.

Overall Review: For a low-budget-bike its the ideal crankset caus of its durability in crank and bottombracket, but for the paintjob and weight its not an option.
