The 575 has been one of Yeti's most popular bikes for years! It's the definition of versatile; lightweight and efficient when riding up hill, burly and sure footed when gravity takes over. For '11 Yeti made the 575 even more capable, adding several key features while maintaining it's lightweight, all mountain heritage. Up front you'll find a gorgeous hydroformed tubeset with tapered head tube, ISCG mount and a completely redesigned main pivot. The main pivot utilizes double row bearings and hydroformed junction for unparalleled stiffness and durability. The rear triangle has been completely redesigned as well. Stout alloy chainstays, with internal derailleur cable routing, lead back to the dropouts. There you will find Yeti's chip system, run 12x142QR(standard) or QR(sold separately) the choice is yours. Moving up to the seatstays you'll see lightweight yet strong carbon fiber construction. Even the geometry has been updated, with a slightly lower bottom bracket and slacker head angle. Front and rear suspension duties are handled by Fox Racing Shox. Shimano Dyan-Sys 10 speed is used for the drivetrain, providing a wide range of gears for wherever your adventures take you. Keeping contact with the ground are a set of smooth rolling DT Swiss X1600 wheels with Schwalbe tires. Frame Custom butted and hydroformed 7005 alloy tubeset Oversized alloy chainstays with internal derailleur cable routing Carbon fiber seatstays Direct mount front derailleur mounts to main pivot for enhanced clearance ISCG '05 mount Cable stops for 'dropper' seatpost Yeti chip system dropouts Very efficient suspension design Excellent descending performance Stable at speed
