Back in the year 2000, Bender sent a huge retaining wall near the Deer Valley Resort during a NORBA National. Ouch!

yes, biggest balls out there; but he screws himself by consistently (this jump and many others of his i have seen) keeping that front tire to high on his landings. super nice guy the couple times i seen him at downyville (years back); and hear he is now staying in auburn, ca and builds and rides with spangler.

He did that drop on saturday afternoon right after pro mens DH practice ended at 4:20 on the button. The perfect balance of stupid and BALLS!#benderisgnar

Haha awesome dig up. I was there too with my pops and buddy Juano with beers in hand after racing all weekend. When he was lining up the drop at the top I remember telling Juan that we should move over because I bet he's going to get bucked and his bike is going to tomahawk right at us. 30 seconds later that exact thing happened.

I was there and saw it first hand, myself. Still remember the horrible sound his body made when he piled into the pavement. I remember thinking that even if he made the gap, because of the angle--or lack of angle--he took at the road, he would've been gong like 170 mph with no chance of slowing down, from super steep to flat, and probably would've ate it just as bad... DAREDEVIL!!!
