Now in its 6th year, the Downhill Urbano Ensenada is an event that has become a local favorite, as well as a must-do for many American friends from north of the border. This year’s course was a short and flowy combination of fire roads, rocky singletrack, stairs and of course the occasional course-cutting perro (that's dog for all you gringos)!

The final stair set plummeted into the downtown area where riders jumped a wooden ramp and crossed the finish line with hundreds of cheering fans adding to the adrenaline.

Over 25 Americans made the short drive south of the border this year to duke it out with the local talent in a variety of different categories. When the dust had settled it was InCycle’s Jon Buckell who took the top spot in the Pro category, just a fraction of a second faster than Cody Johnson.
