Race Face is the latest company to jump on the relatively new 35mm handlebar and stem clamp diameter. You'll see the new size in the SixC, Next, Atlas (shown), and Turbine product lines. For many companies, the advantages to the new size include both higher strength and (surprisingly) lower weight. Other companies currently making 35mm bars and stems include Easton, Kore, Syncros, and Nukeproof, so it's definitely catching on.

So yet a new standard, to sell more wares. Have they come up with a convincing why? The above isn't sufficient to a skeptic

Any idea when this stuff will be available? And will they be making a direct mount stem?
