Riders are frothing to get their knobs in the dirt at the famously steep Vallnord, Andorra, World Cup DH track. The fourth race of 2017 is up for grabs with variable weather conditions thanks to the incredible local topography. The bikes are prepped and the course gets scoped for a Saturday race time on this double-event weekend with World Cup XC on Sunday. Dig in to the goods thanks to @maddogboris and Dan Hearn.

Welcome to Vallnord Bike Park for the fourth round of the 2017 UCI World Cup Downhill. -Dan Hearn
New helmet day for Brook. No scratches on the first day please! @maddogboris
Size Matters. The new Canyon Truck is finally ready and look at how much space they have now! Also check out how clean Aaron Pelttari's workspace is. All just to make Troy's bike fast as hell. @maddogboris
More space also means more time to enjoy the time as a team together. Team Canyon enjoy their lunch together on a table like a family. That's how it should be. @maddogboris
Massive, fresh and well-made berms for shredding tomorrow. yeeow @maddogboris
Seems like Team Santa Cruz Syndicate is not that rad at Tetris or they were in a hurry to pack the bus. Big wheels take up more room. @maddogboris
Danny is actually not standing on the kicker...that´s the landing! We're looking forward to seeing him scrubbing his 27.5 again. @maddogboris
Atherton Gangster Squad! @maddogboris
Others "just" get a new helmet. For Finn Iles, it's a new bike day. #pinkforthewin @maddogboris
Someone stepped up their game. Brand new and super impressive FOX. @maddogboris

Look who's back. Loic you are not the only one who is stoked! @maddogboris
Welcome to Andorra! Everybody is stoked for the first action on such a rad track. @maddogboris
First race after her shoulder injury in Fort William and just a couple days back on the bike. Rachel is obviously happy to be back racing. And the number 6 is just a motivation! @maddogboris
UK meeting in the Atherton pits with Brendan, Rachel and Danny! @maddogboris

The calm before the storm. On Saturday (not Sunday) this area will be packed with amazing fans. @maddogboris
Giant mechanic, Dave Garland doing his best impression of that other tire man. Should we call him the Schwalbe Man? @maddogboris
Kade showing Rachel his whip technique on the course's biggest jump. -Dan Hearn
Welcome to La Massana! Home of cheap cigarettes and alcohol (why do you think Cedric lives here) and definitely one of the best tracks on the downhill circuit. -Dan Hearn

Treacherous on foot, but we will have to wait and see how awkward this steep singletrack becomes tomorrow. -Dan Hearn

Manon Carpenter contemplating the best way to avoid a muddy back. -Dan Hearn
Canyon's new pit set up put others to shame. Not sure how much use the roof deck will be getting this weekend if the forecast proves correct! -Dan Hearn
Brook towing Claudio down the course for a surprisingly dry course preview given the recent rainfall. -Dan Hearn
Team GT taking a stroll over the famous bridge that has been shot far too many times before... -Dan Hearn
Marshy obviously read there were high winds predicted and set about securing the Syndicate pits to the road with an industrial looking drill bit! -Dan Hearn
Mike Jones is back on a bike this weekend after recovering from a broken radius. Let's hope his luck is better at this round and he gets up to speed fast. -Dan Hearn
The FMD posse - ready to tear up the track tomorrow! -Dan Hearn

Laurie Greenland in audio revealing the secrets of Instagram fame and stirring the wheel size debate once more. -Dan Hearn
We couldn't have a slideshow without Muddy sliding through the mud could we? -Dan Hearn
I wonder if we will be shooting similar scenes tomorrow morning for B practice...? -Dan Hearn
Phil Atwill prepared for any weather! -Dan Hearn
When the rain arrived, it REALLY arrived. -Dan Hearn
One stoked Matt Walker that can't wait to ride the Andorran track tomorrow. -Dan Hearn
The famous big berm just before the finish remains. Finishing touches being applied to the timing board and finish area in preparation for the first rider at 8am tomorrow. Stay tuned to Vital for all the action! -Dan Hearn
