Prototype Maxxis Minion 2 DH Tire 7

Greg Minnaar was trying out this prototype Maxxis "Minion 2" tire during the Triple DHip at SolVista. He said these measured in at 2.4 and there is a 2.6 version they're testing too. That's all the info to be had. Credit: gordo

Minion 2? what? Colin Bailey designed the original minion. Don't call it the minion 2 without Colin's permission.

The center channel is closed on every 4th set of knobs. That, combined with the sipes on the wide knobs, should make the minion ii much better under braking which was a common complaint before. Good stuff.
